The Best Council Website

Full Compliance

NetWise V2 is compliant with The Transparency Code, GDPR and WCAG2.1aa. In addition it’s responsive and adapts to display beautifully on any device ensuring a pleasurable experience for your visitors.

Our websites are designed to allow smaller authorities and parish councils to comply with the transparency code, GDPR and the accessibility standards with minimum fuss and cost.

Each website has all the features needed to comply with the code and to keep your community members informed. Each website is fully responsive and so can be viewed on any device including tablets and mobile phones.

In addition we also offer training to those members responsible for updating the website and we even provide domain name registration services along with fast reliable hosting.

Take a look at the features below to see how we can relieve the burden of compliance.

NetWise V2 Features

The Government Digital Service encourage the publication of HTML rather than PDFs wherever possible. With this in mind, we redesigned the document system to allow you to publish documents both as web pages (HTML) and retained the feature for you to upload documents as we realise that sometimes you just have to (audits etc).

This allows the upload and easy display of minutes, agendas, financial reports, audits and everything else that you are required to publish in order to comply with the transparency code and WCAG 2.1 aa

We’ve cleaned up the format for the Council Members section. You can now easily add members details, images, contact details and even a register of interests.

Create community events with just a few clicks and have them display in order on your website. Connecting with your community couldn’t be easier.

Post news stories in categories such as sport, business, community etc. Notices are short snippets, ideal for letting your visitors know the latest announcements such as road closures or Christmas bin collection dates.

Many Local Councils need to list their local clubs and associations. In addition some councils want to list places of interest, local walks, places to eat etc.

Our directory feature allows the creation of an easy to navigate directory where listings can be grouped into as many categories as you need.

Operation London Bridge, Forth Bridge and Menai Bridge are the code names given to the plans and protocols following the death of a Senior Royal. Following an official announcement from Buckingham Palace, each local authority website will be required to provide a landing page. This should be of black background, containing only the official image of the Royal family member who has passed, their year of birth and year of death and a simple button to allow visitors to continue to the main website. We have now incorporated this function into NetWise V2 and have worked with the Custodian of the Official Royal Image Library to ensure that we have official images.

We offer training to your key members and clerks to enable them to update the website in a timely manner and with ease. We realise that many smaller authorities find complying with the transparency code daunting, with that in mind we also offer ongoing support including a members area with help files and short ‘how to’ videos.

Our UK based hosting is secure and fast ensuring that your website is always available. We ensure that your system is always up to date, we take care of any software updates leaving you free to do the more important work in your community.
